Gay and Lesbian Sangha

Besides my dear lesbian friends, my other source of support and sense of community is my small sangha. In this website, I use a more general Westernized meaning of the word sangha. Sangha can be loosely referred to as any group of Buddhist laypeople or congregation. The Buddha, dharma, and sangha keeps me grounded. This is my spiritual path. In a sudden flash of awakening, all doubt and rambling thoughts disappear. Everything seems exactly as it should be. There is no judgment or analysis. A clarity and purity of mind exists that no words can properly describe. I take great solace and comfort in both my lesbian community and my sangha. Lesbians are my home. My sangha is my home.
